Describe the culture of the organization or company. What is the work environment like – the atmosphere? What is the building like – exterior/interior, architecture, fittings and furniture? How do the employees work together? What are the jobs and roles of individuals? How are they treated by management?

The building has one side that is a modern interpretation. The rest of the building looks like a school with classrooms. The paint and feel of the building is very historic. Interior is very dated. It’s a laid back atmosphere that reflects the mood of the community. However, they also have a professional side as well. They want to be taken seriously. This is seen in their site by mentioning how the Center has hosted groups like the Utah Symphony, the Arvada Center of the Performing Arts, Diane Witherspoon Jazz Quintet, the David Taylor Dance Theater, the Utah and Jeoffrey Ballets, the Utah Opera and the Basque Ballet of Spain. Coinciding with each guest’s performance, the center creates master workshops for local dancers, singers, musicians, and actors. These are sponsored by the center and helps expand the outreach of this southwestern Wyoming home of the arts. Therefore, they do not exclude anyone in participating in the arts, especially the performing arts. They have a board but they only have three staff members, including a Director, Assistant Director, and Receptionist. All staff wears multiple hats. There are really only managers at the site besides teachers for the workshop.  They work as a team and enjoy each other’s company.

Who is the targeted audience? What are their demographics?

Their demographic is aimed toward all cultures in Rock Springs who show the interest in art related techniques. They are dealing with a median income of $71,000. Most of which are one child families. The dominate ethnicity is White alone with 86%. These are their demographics and targeted audience.
