There have been many things I have learned in this course.  Looking back at my goals, I realized I didn’t know what to expect from the class. All the different marketing strategies are all great ways to approach a new marketing campaign. The best part of the course was the group project. OCT, in my opinion, have great ideas from us on how to gain the attention of college students. It is still surprising that they have not approached or have participated with student organizations. These are the top five things I have learned in the Winter MMC class.

1. There are many different approaches and strategies that are inexpensive and effective for nonprofits. I want to read more about Conrad’s specific marketing strategies for nonprofits.

2. Coming up with strategies specific for a company really defines the organization and you must reflect every aspect of the organization with limited space/time.

3. There is no reason why nonprofits can advertise like profits.

4. Marketing teams seem to have the most fun if they are allowed to express their creativity.

5.  Answering Who, What, When, Where, and How is important when discussing new advertising ideas. Also, you can do this with images.

Overall, the class was really fun and it was my favorite this term.
