In the TED video I thought the things Lawrence Lessig had to say about the Read Write and Read Only cultures and remixing was very interesting. I’ve often heard people say bad things about the internet. Our generation grew up with internet evolving, and it really is something that our culture now depends on. It allows us to be more creative and inventive. Remixing has become very important to us, Lessig says, “these tools of creativity have become tools of speech” (Lessig). The internet really has become a way for people to broadcast themselves and communicate with the rest of the world.

yes, i agree with you. Sometimes we are overly depends on Internet. However, Internet makes our life more efficient. For example, do research online, online meeting, shopping online, make reservation online and so on. So i think remixing is good for us.
I agree with you in that the internet has really given us an outlet to communicate with a broader group of people worldwide which is great. It allows us to gain influence from other countries as opens our eye to different creative avenues. However with remixes do you feel as though we are having to use less creativity? My thought is that because we are just changing and modifying an existing piece we are being less creative because we have a base to start with. The original artist had to start from scratch so do you think that requires more creativity?
Although I agree with you about the Internet being a great creative outlet, I think that our generation commonly uses it for other purposes. Yes, social media can connect us to people around the world and allow us to share ideas, but many times we use it validate our existence by tweeting selfies and where abouts.
I think we should focus more on using it for creative purposes such as this, taking a class online, learning and sharing ideas with others through a virtual space.
