Welcome to the UO Global Studies Institute Israel Working Group page!  The GSI, part of the Office of International Affairs, works with faculty, staff and students from across the UO and the wider community to help develop and implement UO international engagement strategy in key regions and countries of the world.  Whenever possible, we partner with academic units responsible for teaching, research and outreach in key regions/countries.

The Israel Working Groups support our efforts to enhance all aspects of global engagement in Israel, including but not limited to:

• UO faculty research and academic collaboration in Israel
• Study abroad and international internship opportunities for UO students in Israel
• Recruitment of students from Israel to attend UO
• Scholarships for study abroad/internship in Israel and for students coming to UO from Israel
• Establishment and management of formal partnership agreements in Israel
• Fundraising to support UO engagements in Israel
