GEO is excited to announce that Michael Price has been named the Health, Safety and Risk Manager for all Global Education Oregon (GEO) programming! A Program Coordinator with GEO (and formerly AHA) for more than five years, Michael brings to the position a deep knowledge of GEO programs and processes, as well as a long history of working directly with students on exchange and study abroad programs in student affairs and support. An Oregon native and alum of the University of Oregon, Michael lived abroad for a number of years, first in the Philippines and then the Netherlands, where he managed student affairs at the University College Utrecht.
As the Health, Safety and Risk Manager for GEO, Michael will be responsible for identifying and implementing best practices to further refine and enhance the comprehensive health and safety initiatives GEO offers our students. He will also be monitoring and responding to emergency and crisis issues with students on GEO programs and working directly with our partners campuses. GEO is glad to have Michael’s expertise as a crucial part of the dedicated service and support GEO offers to our partners and their students.
