In light of today’s tragedy in Nice, France (a truck drove into a crowd of people during Bastille Day celebrations; fatalities estimated at 100, with many more injured), Global Education Oregon (GEO) expresses its sympathies for everyone impacted by these horrific events.
While GEO does not have any programs located in or near Nice, we are checking all our European programs for students who may have been traveling.
The Office of International Affairs and GEO will continue to monitor and share information as we have it.
