My country of interest for the blog is Indonesia, previously known as the Dutch East Indies. This country is located in South-Eastern Asia and has the largest economy of the region. The land is largely made up of dense forest and volcanic mountains. While the national language is Indonesian, it is largely known for majority of citizens being multilingual, specifically trilingual. Alongside Indonesian they often speak Javanese and Sundanese.
About the author: My name is Audrey Townsend and I am one of the writers. I am a currently a psychology major and first year student at the University of Oregon. I am also a member of the Oregon Marching Band and Color Guard. I enjoy reading, learning new things, and listening to music in my free time.
