It’s important to step back and appreciate all the things we have that help us achieve what we want to. Triathlon is not a “one size fits all” sport. Each athlete needs to figure out what works for them to get the most out of their training and racing. Here I want to acknowledge some the people and products that have helped me succeed1

An official Nuun Ambassador for 2019!

I’ve been using Nuun as a hydration solution since 2012. I always make sure to have a few tabs in my bag before heading off to a race. My bike to run transition is held together by Nuun. This is my third year as a Team Nuun Ambassador.

An official member of the Honey Stinger “Hive” Elite for 2019!

Lindsey first introduced me to Honey Stinger in 2016 and I quickly fell in love with them. My favorite is the Dark Chocolate Mint Almond protein bar. I’m also a big fan of the Vanilla Waffle. I’ll often use the protein bars as a quick, post-workout refuel, waffles and energy gels pre/during races, and their nut butter bars as a snack on a long hike. This is my third year as a member of the HS Hive.

An official member of the 2019 Altra “Red Team.”

I’ve been wearing Altra shoes since 2012. Their Footshape toe box was just what I needed. I valued their feel and comfort in training and racing on both road and trail. My favorite is their Escalante Racer model. This is my second year as a member of Team Red.

I started using TrainingPeaks when first training for Triathlons because it help me keep better track of my workouts and manage my training plan across all three disciplines. It’s been a great tool for me over the years.
