For this project, we partnered with Willamalane Parks and Recreation District which maintains and operates 46 parks and natural areas in the Eugene-Springfield area, with an expansive coverage of 1,500 acres in total. Bryce Izlar and Frazer Macdonald from Willamalane provided our team with crucial recommendations and expertise on the process of our data collection in the Thurston Hills Natural Area.
