Meeting links from Aaron of Campus Planning + Assignment 4 for Friday

Some Campus Planning studies:

Planning Study:

Campus Physical Framework Vision Project

one of those had a student survey which would be great for someone to process and summarize for the group.

The mention of the basement and interest to go subgrade connection reminds me that whoever is on building sections should work on SITE SECTIONS from Pacific to the open green space (East west) and from Lawrence to 13th (North south) with elevation of Friendly.

Everyone check out the new post (2nd) about Gehl Design and Jahn Gehl – he / they are the leading urban design group in the world. I met with the new partner in Copenhagen recently (Jahn is mostly retired now).

Human-scale!  Liz and Aaron talked about the importance of human-scale design which is precisely the title of the Journal of Urbanism article I wrote and the aim of Gehl’s work. Yes, these things are all related. Ha.
