Hello! This is my COLT 415: Writing the Family, Writing the Self final project. This website is an accumulation of the research I have done throughout the term. On my father’s side, my family originates from  Lefkada, Greece, as well as Arizona in the United States. My mother’s family on her father’s side immigrated from Ireland in the early 20th century, and her maternal family has more distant roots in the United States, specifically in Oklahoma. Somehow, my relatives all found themselves in the Bay Area, California, where my parents, Tammy and Demetri, eventually met. I am here now to track some of my relatives and place them in history. In turn, I have found myself reflected in their image–a product of all their different journeys.
