Project Portfolio Description

Christians As Family Advocates is a non-profit organization that serves individuals and families within Lane county. Their mission is to empower individuals to interact with others in a way that creates the best environment possible for healthy relationships to develop as well as providing parents with the necessary tools to support their child’s growth, safety and well-being. Additionally, they provide mental health services for their presenting problems. For my senior project, I will be updating and editing the current policies and procedures manual for CAFA’s Kids Connecting Program. The results of the updated policies and procedures manual will be on-going as CAFA staff and the Kids Connecting staff monitor the benefits of the newly updated policies and procedures with their clients, staff, and volunteers. The project will hopefully be beneficial to all those involved in the program. The policies and procedures manual will be used with every client who utilizes the Kids Connecting program and will be updated as necessary in the future by Echo Lucas, the program director, and another FHS intern.
