Project Portfolio Description

Creating Real Time Tracking by Using A Digital Form Program For St. Vincent de Paul Night Shelter

The St. Vincent de Paul Annex Night Shelter, located in Eugene, OR is a program that serves families facing homelessness and provides temporary shelter, meals, and activities for families. The Night Shelter works with First Place Family Center to provide services that will help them obtain stable employment and housing. This project aims to create a real time electronic service tracking system. This will help staff accurately and efficiently track services and needs of the families that are a part of this program. This project will start the transition from the Night Shelters current document program SharePoint and move to the form creator program Cognito. With transitioning to the Cognito program staff will be able to track services from any smart or WIFI capable device. This will ensure efficiency for staff as they will no longer be responsible for physical paperwork and will ensure accuracy throughout the program. Looking towards the Night Shelters future with using Cognito there will be an accurate tracking system that will be able to be used for funding, program suitability, the ability to run real time reports, and expanding service transactions.
