The Eugene Mission is a homeless shelter that provides an array of services, programs, classes, and resources that help the guests who stay there reach their goal of either maintaining sobriety, finding a job and stable place to live, or all of the above. Incoming homeless individuals are given information about the Eugene Mission when they first arrive, through verbal communication. My project is going to be to create a detail-oriented and very informational brochure/pamphlet that lists all the programs and services that the Eugene Mission offers so that current residents and incoming guest will have the option to pick up a readily available pamphlet to keep with them if they ever have questions or forget about which options of classes/programs the Eugene Mission has to offer.

My project will be used in the future by the Mission and I hope my project will continue to serve as a helpful source of information to thousands of homeless individuals who come in contact with it; not only at the Eugene Mission itself but to friends and family members of past and/or current residents of the Mission. I want my project to be handed out to other homeless individuals in need in hopes that it can give them the information on services and programs that have been proven to help thousands of people. To ensure my project will remain sustainable, I will also go to populated homeless areas around town and put up my brochure for everyone to see, so that everyone has the chance to obtain this information.
