Project Portfolio Description

McCornack Elementary is a title school in Eugene, Oregon that strives for the success of each and every student. The school counselor is committed to equity of students and families that are a part of the school. The purpose of this project is to provide teachers with a guide to pro-social interactions with students in order to cater to all students and families with a focus on serving historically underserved families. By encouraging teachers to use pro-social and solutions focused language, discipline, and activities, they are able to create high trust and low stress learning environments for their students. In order to encourage future use and sustainability, staff members and future interns will have the ability to edit the document as well as add in extra content that they deem to be related and useful in this setting.
