Project Portfolio Description

I am conducting my senior project at Jasper Mountain Center. Jasper Mountain is a unique treatment agency that offers a continuum of services for children and their families. Jasper Mountain’s mission is to offer help and hope for children and families, specializing in areas such as attachment issues, sexual reactivity, anti-social and violent behavior, and treating severe trauma. My project focuses on developing and updating the practices used within the agency and getting advice from the treatment staff who work with the children daily. The handbook is going to be given to new staff during intitial training as a resource for them to have. The impact it has had on the agency is drawing attention to the information that needed updating by administration. The handbook will be sustainable for years to come unless there is a large change in the practices used at Jasper Mountain, if so it can be updated by administration.
