Project Portfolio Description

A Family for Every Child (AFFEC) is a nonprofit adoption agency based in Eugene, Oregon. AFFEC was founded in 2006 and has rapidly grown to provide a variety of different services and programs for adopting families, case workers, and waiting children in the child welfare system. One of their longest standing programs is the matching assistance program (MAP) that includes access to photo listings of thousands of waiting children and other helpful tools that expedite and simplify the adoption process. Due to an increase in the number of MAP families asking for additional support, AFFEC staff have decided to update and expand the MAP and introduce a fee based system that will better serve clients. My project is to design and send out a short online survey to introduce clients to potential changes and to collect client feedback. The responses to this survey will then be compiled into a report and presented to AFFEC staff. The online survey will allow AFFEC to effectively collect client-feedback while keeping clients and staff safe. The infographic, survey, and report will be saved onto a database so that they can be used in the future.
