Project Portfolio Description
Chapman House is a behavioral rehabilitation center for individuals in recovery from drug and alcohol abuse. Currently, this center lacks a holistic behavioral health curriculum to utilize in group therapy sessions. This project targets evidence-based practices for teaching integral life skills and behavior choices these individuals may be lacking. A curriculum was developed in order to teach individuals in recovery these important skills. This workbook includes a range of activities that will allow group leaders to introduce skill concepts and empower group members to practice the skill set. Some of these skills include healthy communication, self-care, mindfulness, and conflict resolution. This workbook will help support clientele sobriety outside of Chapman House.
