The Relief Nursery is an organization which works with families self-identified as at-risk by offering programs such as the Therapeutic Early Childhood Program to prevent child abuse and neglect. The activity book manual was created for interns working in the Therapeutic Early Childhood Program. The manual includes activities appropriate for the curriculum of building resilience and offsetting the impact of trauma. This provides interns with a tool to strengthen their skills and create leadership opportunities through activities and helps better serve the clients. Recommendations for future use includes the inclusion of additional activity concepts overtime to refrain from continuous repetition and an emphasis on the activity book being a foundational resource meant for interns to use and grow from.
