Project Portfolio Description

Christians as Family Advocates (CAFA) is a non profit organization dedicated to creating safe homes by eliminating domestic violence within households. CAFA’s mission statement is to create a safer environment for children by providing resources to equip individuals, partners and parents. A resource guide in Spanish was created to inform clients on the resources they have access to, which fills a necessary gap in CAFA. Often the Latinx community is directed to CAFA for assistance surrounding domestic violence, but unfortunately due to lack of resources that CAFA provides in Spanish it results in clients leaving without any resources or assistence. The project helps Latinx clients to have better access to potential resources in Eugene. In order to ensure the sustainability of my resource guide, digital documents of all of the resources were created. Staff can also edit the documents at any moment to ensure the information that is up to date.
