Here is a list of fun activities that your family can enjoy during the month of January!
- Join the University of Oregon Gospel Singers during their Martin Luther King, Jr Day Celebration. This is a free event where families can go to listen to power songs celebrating the idea’s of M.L.K Jr. This event will take place January 18th and 3pm at the University of Oregon Beall Concert Hall.
- Learn about the history of the beautiful state of Oregon at the Museum of Natural and Cultural History. Delve into Oregon’s story, from the first Americans at Paisley Caves to the dynamic cultures of today’s tribes. This newly enhanced exhibit combines interactive technology, hands-on experiences, and world-class collections – showcasing 14,000 years of Oregon stories, and inviting you to tell your own. Explore the galleries, try your hand at ancient weaving styles, test your skills as an archaeologist and much more! This event reoccurs weekly Tuesday- Sunday from 11am-5pm with a small entry fee of 3-5$.
- Your family is invited to sing and dance every Saturday until the 28th at the Family Music time at the Downtown Eugene Public Library. Enjoy interactive musical sessions with special guests for free starting at 10:15am!
- During the month of January, every Sunday can be Family Fun Day! Located at the Downtown Eugene Public Library, families are invited to try exciting new activities such as the Scenes of Narnia, Science in Motion, Chinese New Year, and more!
