Gobble, gobble CAPS families! Read below for some fun family activities.
- Rain or shine, you can count on Mt. Pisgah Arboretum to provide activities and food for all families! In the spirit of giving, parking, games and campfire food are all FREE! Check out Play in the Rain Day November 11th.
- Check out Festival of Trees from November 21-November 25. Eugene downtown is transformed into the North Pole and is worth checking out to get into the holiday spirit.
- Head outside and grab your fishing pole because from November 23-November 24 Oregon is hosting Free Fishing Days! Families can go anywhere in Oregon that is open to fishing. It’s a great time to bring everyone together for an adventure.
- Santa is coming to town! Come meet Santa on November 24th while Fifth Street Public Market hosts Night of a Thousand Stars. If you’re not interested in Santa, still come on down for some amazing lights, winter snowfall, and fun music.
- From now through December 30th, learn about the hunt for aliens! The Eugene Science Center has a brand new planetarium which will blast you through the entire universe! This program is suited for all ages and might even make you believe we are aliens.
Also, in light of Thanksgiving, we appreciate you all for your commitment and participation in the CAPS lab! Have a wonderful holiday season.
