BOO! Welcome to October! Who is ready to welcome cold weather, sweaters, and lots of hot coco? Keep reading to find out about other fun things to do this month!

  1.  Nearby Nature needs your help carving pumpkins! Head over to the Alton Baker Park Residence on October 18th to help carve over 80 pumpkins for the Haunted Hike. They have tools you can borrow or feel free to bring your own! And be sure to bring a friend too.
  2.  To go see your hard work put on display, head to the Haunted Hike on October 20th for some spooky fun. But if you’re not much into haunted, check out their crafts, games, and yummy treats instead!
  3. To get into the holiday spirit, grab your family and head to the Pumpkin Auction and Family Halloween Party at Adventure Children’s Museum. Face painting, prizes, and pumpkins galore!
  4.  If you love to dance and you love vampires, then you are going to LOVE this fun story time and performance that gives you both! Make sure to stay after for fun Halloween crafts as well. If interested in more details, click here.
  5.  Need a place to trick or treat? Head to downtown Eugene on October 31st where over 800 kids, families, and friends will join in on a night of food, games, and live music! Make sure to dress up in your favorite costume for the costume contest- maybe you’ll win!
