April: The Prime Puddle Splashing Month

Nature is beautiful, the rain is cold – giving love for the earth, never gets old!

  1. Celebrate Earth Day with your family at Eugene Science Center! On April 22nd, get free exhibit hall admission, one free planetarium show, and enjoy special activities about the science of our home planet – Earth!
  2. On April 21st, Eugene celebrates mother earth with an exciting festival at Venue 252! There will be vendors, crafting events, and all ages performances which encourage earth-friendly and healthy living. This event is completely free between 12-5pm and $6 adults/ $4 kids after 5:30pm.
  3. Newts are the funniest and slimiest creatures in the world, and this event is all about them! On April 28th, enjoy a newt quest in Tugman Park! Learn about these cool critters from naturalist and University of Oregon professor Tom Titus as we explore the wild side of this south Eugene park for the third year in a row!
