September Fun Activities

Hello CAPS families! Back to school time is upon us, but just because it is back to hitting the books, it does not mean that there is any shortage of fun events for families to enjoy! Here is a list of fun activities for the whole family during September!

  1. On September 2nd join WREN for a FREE day of independent exploration in the wetlands of Eugene. There will be backpacks, with all sort of fun equipment inside, issued out from 10:00AM to 2:00PM. This event would be a great, and cost effective, way to spend Memorial Day weekend.
  2. On September 10th there will be a celebration in honor of Grandparents day in Emerald park. There are multiple events lined up for the occasion as well as free ice cream. This is a great way to show some appreciation and have some family fun in the process.
  3. On September 16th kiddos can join Robin Levin for a free youth art class from 1:00PM to 3:00. This class is directed at kiddos over the age of six and is a great way to peak some artistic interests.
  4. On September 24th come to Alton Baker Park for the Pagan Pride Day Fair. This fair is a celebration of the harvest season in Pagan tradition. In addition to having all sorts of fun activities, this event will also donate non-perishables to Food for Lane County.
