Looking for inexpensive ways to enjoy this summer with the family? Look no further:
- Take part in a fun filled morning centered around Alpacas! From 10am – noon on July 15th you can create alpaca crafts, get photos taken with the alpacas, and enjoy snacks and raffles all for FREE! This event will take place at Eugene, Cascades & Coast Visitor Information & Adventure Center and isn’t one that you’ll want to miss.
- Watch Finding Dory at Douglas Gardens Park in Springfield at sunset on July 14th! Starting at 7:30 there will be activities within the park, including learning about fish directly from the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, the chance to win cool prizes and a skit before the movie!
- Enjoy a Children’s Celebration event that includes face painting, a balloon clown, live entertainment and more fun for the whole family! On July 29th at Island Park in Springfield from 10am – 2pm you can enjoy this event for FREE with a food item donation for Food for Lane County.
- Read fun stories in the Harry Holt Park every Tuesday and Thursday this month from 12:30-1:30. This is a free event and lunch is provided by Food for Lane County as well as a free book for kiddos that stay until the end!
