My artist, Eliot Goldfinger, a realistic sculptor and instructor at The Art Students League in New York City and helped develop an anatomy program at the New York Academy of Art. He is also the author and illustrator of a book that I have used as a reference throughout my entire project. The book I fell in love with is called Human Anatomy for Artists: The Elements of Form.
I first found this book when I was in high school and instantly fell in love with it. When I thought of my project, this book was what I wished I had. Luckily, I found it in the AAA Library in the Art Department.
In this book, he presents images of the different parts of the body, muscles and skeletons, and provides information about each one he drew. It is an incredible book for reference and explains everything quite well so I understand what I am drawing exactly.
