My name is Henry Oliva, I am a currently going into my senior year and for my location I chose Lake Tahoe. I grew up in a small town, Sasualito, in Marin County. Although I loved where I grew up the Lake Tahoe areas has alway been one of the most facinatic and captivating areas I have been to. I have always loved to be outdoors wheter I was adventuring, camping, or hiking.
Chambers Landing / Blackwood Canyon
Blackwood Canyon and Lake Tahoe are special to me because they showed me the beauty of nature in a ways I have never experienced before. I want to share with others how this place made me feel awe and wonder at the sight of the clear lake, the green trees, and the colorful flowers. The contrast between the blue water and the greenery is a resembled and embodied throughout photographs. I also wanted to convey the sensory aspects of this place, such as the sound of the birds and the wind, the smell of the fresh air and the flowers, and the feeling of the sun and the breeze on my skin. I hope to illuminate how this place is a peaceful and serene escape from the busy and noisy world.
