This is Grand Lake Colorado, a small ski town two hours west of Denver. It is my little peace of heaven, and for the past two summers, I have been lucky enough to work up here and call it home.

Not everything is fantastic, though. This is when my friend flipped his car. 100 feet off the road onto the frozen lake.
