I included pictures of the hike in Latemar. It was my favorite place from the beginning days on our trip because if the cows and beautiful landscape. It was so interesting to learn about how the cows are such an integral part of the area and maintaining biodiversity of the space. Culturally cheese and milk are important, but the practice is also indirectly connected to the surrounding ecosystem. I thought it was also interesting to learn from our guide how the geological rocks in the area influence the life that can grow in this region. Depending on the type of rock, different plants and animals exist in different spaces.
