My name is Franny Gaede and I work at the University of Oregon Libraries. I’ve lived in Eugene for five years now and I really love it here! I’ve recently taken up gardening, which wasn’t much of a hobby where I grew up in Arizona, though I did raise a pencil cactus that grew to about eight feet tall under the stairs of our neighbor in my apartment complex.
I have two long-haired, ridiculous cats, Lucas and Oliver, who get into a lot of trouble for creatures who can’t go outside and don’t have opposable thumbs.
I’m very interested in copyright, fair use, and Creative Commons, all of which are very important when you’re making stuff on the Internet! The image below is from a website called Unsplash, which has tons of really cool images you can use any way you want, for any purpose you want. I use a lot of them for desktops and on web projects like this one.
