group walks around town
Towards the end of our trip, I found the town of Lavarone particularly impressive. Having all previously hiked for several days prior, to end up in a city as welcoming and lush as Lavarone was a treat. Again, I was able to enjoy the delicious soups and fresh gelato. In addition, we learned about the dairy-making process through the farm up the street. This experience was exciting because I had never been to a dairy farm. Then we ventured to a world war I fort. Essentially this tour broadened my knowledge of the town we were staying in. However, my favorite part was returning to Cristina’s hotel for mint tea and a fun karaoke night.
