These pictures showcase the many aspects tied into our journey in Latemar. The initial element that was interesting this day was the view. It was the first day our group had a significant hike. It allowed each of us to have our first moments of taking in the view from above. I genuinely feel this day began understanding this region’s culture and landscape. There were areas where one could contemplate the art that is incorporated in various locations around this hike. The aspect that I know our group loved the most was the muca. I think being able to connect with other living beings native to this area, but this lifestyle is in perspective for me. Lastly, I found the mid-day lunch extremely special. I enjoyed feeling a sense of connection to a location through its cuisine. I believe that different ingredients depict the cultural region of an area.
