I grew up speaking Spanish and a little bit of Castellana. Therefore when I visited Barcelona, Spain, I felt a connection to the culture and understanding of the language. I also grew up in a family that idolizes Spanish food, so when I got to experience the food in Spain truly, it felt like a dream come true.

The general look of the town also grasped my attention. I was fascinated by the detailed architecture of each building and how it cultivated such unity. The style behind each building and church taught me about the city’s history. Overall the architecture made me fall in love with the environment the city produced.

I have always considered this city my favorite city in Europe. In fact, I dream of moving there one day. I am in love with all aspects of this city and how they individually complement each other beautifully. Essentially this city is my favorite place I have traveled to.
