May 21st, 2017 – Animal Shelter Volunteer Day

*****This is not a registration to participate in the race, it is only a signup for volunteering with ExplOregon – not racing*****

Calling all animal lovers!  On Sunday May 21st ExplOregon will be volunteering our time and compassion to help out at the 24th Annual Bark in the Park Run/Walk for the Greenhill Humane Society animal shelter.  Bark in the park is an amazing annual fundraiser where over 1,000 dogs leash up their humans and go for a 10K, 5K, or 2K walk/run at the Alton Baker Park.  Other than the run/walk, the day will be filled a bunch of other fun activities and events including various canine activities, vender booths, demonstrations and tons more! Greenhill hopes to raise $100,000 to help care for homeless pets as well as to find homes for approximately 3,000 pets in 2017.  An event this size means all hand (and paws) on deck so if you are interested in helping an animal in need find a better life then this is the perfect event for you! Be sure to sign up soon…
