SCHEDULE: Please meet in front of the REC Center at 8:30 AM, we will depart from campus at 9:00 Am and will arrive at the Tulip Festival in Woodburn around 10:30 AM. After a few hours of taking in the beautiful scenery we will make our way to the Woodburn Premium Outlets for lunch and a few hours of shopping. We will be leaving the outlets around 4:00 PM and should make it back to campus around 5:30 – 6:00 PM.

Join us on Friday, March 9th as we head to one of the Escape Rooms here in town. DARE Escape and Adventure Rooms offers a very unique and interactive puzzle game experience. Participants are immersed within a themed room and its elements to find clues, decode puzzles, and ultimately solve the mysteries within a set time limit of one hour. Are you up for the challenge?
SCHEDULE: Meet in front of the REC Center by 6:15, we will be heading to the bus around 6:30 and should make it to the Escape Room by 7:00 pm. Participants will be divided into two groups and each group will have one hour to work together to escape their room. We will be taking the bus back to campus and should make it back by around 9:30 PM.

You asked for it and you got it! On Saturday March 3rd, ExplOregon will be heading to Paintball Palace for a 2-hours session of PAINTBALL fun. Paintball Palace is a local indoor paintball arena – equipment will be provided and additional equipment can be purchased at the Paintball Palace store. Schedule: Meet at Rec Center by 11:05am to board the public bus to Paintball Palace located at 1820 W. 7th Ave. The bus will leave at 11:17am and we should arrive at the arena by 11:40am. Check in for laser tag will begin around 11:45am with the games starting at 12:00pm. We have a 2-hour time slot reserved so we will fit in as many games as we can. We can expect to stay until 2:10am(ish) and to return to the Campus by 2:35pm.
What to Bring: Clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty, Closed-toed Shoes, as well as money or cash for any food, souvenirs, and other items you wish to purchase.

Join ExplOregon as we head to the REC center here on campus for their 2nd annual Inclusive Rec Expo! From 3:00-6:00 p.m. there will be a variety of recreational activities for ALL people representing diverse backgrounds! FREE recreational activities will be available including adaptive climbing, blindfolded yoga, wheelchair sports, and much more! You will also have an opportunity to play basketball with Special Olympics Oregon athletes.

Schedule: Meet at the REC Center by 8:00am, the charter bus will leave no later than 8:30am. We will arrive at Lincoln City beach by 10:30am. We will stay at the beach until 2:00pm and then head to the outlet-mall for some food and shopping. We will head back to Eugene around 4:30pm and should make it back to campus by 6:30pm at the latest.
What to Bring: Warm clothes, shoes that can get wet, rain jacket and pants, cash or money for food and if you wish to do some shopping.
If you missed it last year – it’s back again! Some call it the “crown jewel” of the Oregon, and once you visit Silver Falls, you’ll know why. So Join explOregon as we go visit this beautiful place to do a moderate hike through nature. Feel free to take lots of photos of the beautiful scenery and end it all with a delicious barbecue!

After our hike we will be treated to a delicious barbecue meal provided by our tour guide, Ron. After we finish eating we will head back to Eugene and should make it back to town around 5:30pm.
What to bring: Water proof jacket, hat and warm clothes, hiking boots – or a sturdy pair of shoes, thick socks, cold weather gear and any appropriate gear for long nature walks, drinks and snacks, light backpack or fanny pack to hold personal items such as: phone, camera or wallet.

Join ExplOregon Saturday, February 3rd as we head up to Portland and take a trip to the Oregon Zoo. The Oregon Zoo is a gem here in Portland and is a must see for any animal lover. “In addition to educating and inspiring its community, the Oregon Zoo takes direct conservation action to protect wildlife around the world”. After a few hours at the Zoo we will head into Downtown Portland to do a little exploration of the area. Sign up today and don’t forget to tell yours friends!
