SCHEDULE: Meet in front of the REC Center by 8:45 AM because the charter bus will leave campus at 9:00 AM. We will arrive at Portland Art Museum at approximately 11:00 – 11:15. Our time at the museum is from 11:30 to about 12:30 – 1:00 PM. Once we are done, we will head back on the bus and drive to Lloyd Center shopping mall where you will have a few hours to do some shopping or grab a bite to eat the food courts. We will head back to campus at approximately 5:30 PM with the plan to arrive on campus at 8:00 PM.

We will explore shaping, attaching and finishing to create glass pumpkins while teaching the fundamentals of working glass. No experience necessary.

WEDNESDAY – NOVEMBER 8TH 2017 – LASER TAG & MINI GOLF
Join ExplOregon as we take a trip to Putters for a few hours of Laser Tag, Mini Golf and a whole lot of fun. If you missed this trip last term you won’t want to miss it again, so sign up fast because the tickets will go quick.

SCHEDULE: Meet infront of Lillis Business Complex by 6:00 PM we will walk to the bus station to board the public bus to Putters Family Entertainment Center located right here in Eugene. We should arrive to Putters by 7:00PM. Check in for laser tag will be at 7:30pm, but in the meantime there will be plenty of games to play including: pool, video games and mini golf. We can expect to stay at putters until 9:00pm(ish) and to return to the Campus by 10:00pm

WHEN: SUNDAY, OCTOBER 22ND, 2017
SCHEDULE: Please meet in front of the REC Center at 8:45am, departure at 9:00am, we should arrive in downtown Portland by 11:00am. Game starts at 1:00pm so we will have a couple of hours to explore the Portland area, grab a bite to eat and then make our way to the stadium. The game should last about 2 hours and we will be returning to campus by 6/6:30pm.
WHAT TO BRING: comfortable clothes – Bring money for any food, souvenirs, and any other things you wish to buy.
Come with explOregon and spend an afternoon finding the perfect Halloween pumpkin, enjoying good food and ice cream as we take a traditional American tradition. We will be visiting the Lone Pine Farms pumpkin patch. Stick around after the trip to the pumpkin patch and join us in the Craft Center to carve the pumpkin’s we picked out!
SCHEDULE: Please meet in front of the REC Center by 10:45am so that the bus can leave at 11:00am. We will arrive at Lone Pine Farms around 11:30am and enjoy the pumpkin patch for approximately 2-2.5 hours. We will leave around 1:45pm and should be back to campus by 2:30pm. Pumpkin carving in the Craft Center from 2:30 – 4:00.

Come explore with us two important sites of Eugene: Skinner Butte and 5th Street Market! Skinner Butte trail is an easy hike to the top and can be hiked in 30mins to 60mins round trip. It is the perfect spot for a scenic view of the valley and downtown Eugene. Then after the hike come with us to visit a few local shops and grab a bite to eat in the 5th Street market district. So join us Wednesday morning for an adventure to a few of Eugene’s favorite spots.

TIME: 4:00 PM – 7:00
SCHEDULE: Meet in front of the Duck Store (corner of Kincaid and E 13th Ave) by 4:10 and we will take the public bus to Skinner Butte Park at 4:20pm arriving at the park by 4:40pm. The hike should take between 30-60 minutes to finish round trip. After we finish the hike we will walk over to the 5th Street Market to explore some of the shops and grab a bite to eat. The group will make it back to campus by 12:30pm but of course, you may leave the trip anytime you wish.

SATURDAY – OCTOBER 14TH 2017 – SEA LIFE CRUISE & OREGON COAST AQUARIUM
Join us for an afternoon of cruising the sea AND a trip to the Aquarium in Newport, Oregon. We will be joined by a team of friendly naturalist guides, who provide a fun and exciting 2-hour sea life cruise that focus on Oregon wildlife aboard the deluxe 65ft cruise ship called the “Discovery”. After that we will head to the Oregon Coast Aquarium just a few blocks down the road to see even more sea creatures. So join us on Saturday October 14th.
SCHEDULE: Please meet in front of the REC Center at 9:00am. We will leave from campus at 9:15am and arrive at The Marine Discovery Tours in Newport, Oregon around 11:15am. We will then embark on a 2-hour sea life cruise ending around 1:30pm. We will then make our way to the Oregon Coast Aquarium, which is located nearby where we can eat lunch and tour the aquarium from 2:00pm to 4:30pm. We will return to the REC Center by 6:30 pm.

SUNDAY – OCTOBER 8TH 2017- DUCKS VS. WASHINGTON STATE
Come spend your Sunday evening with the ExplOregon crew as we head out to support our women’s soccer team as they take on Washington State. Wear your duck gear and get ready to cheer on our world class athletes during this fun event!
Schedule: Please meet in front of the EMU by 3:30pm. We will then begin our walk over to Pape Field around 3:40. We should arrive at the field by just before 4:00pm. The game starts at about 4:00pm and will end around 5:45pm. We will return to campus by 6:15 but you may leave the game any time you wish.
