Similar to the This American Life clip, this one talks about grazing and its environmental effects, but from a scientist’s point of view (rather than an activist’s). Allan Savory has done decades of research on the relationship between grazing and desertification, and he and the Savory Institute are working to reform the cattle industry, both in the U.S. and internationally. I find this clip in particular to be really moving, due to his humility (he made a HUGE mistake near the beginning of his career) and the urgency with which he describes the current situation.
