After reading Susan Davis’s, “Touch the Magic,” I did some research and found an attraction at Disneyland that is sponsored by a coroprate company very similar to the third party companies that are partnered with Sea World. The Enchanted Tiki Room is an attraction within Disneyland that creates a fake “jungle” filled with talking parrots and an enchanted garden. Here is a little insight on the “magic” created by Disneyland:  “The magic begins before you even enter the Enchanted Tiki Room. As you wait for the doors to open, carved totem poles representing the island gods suddenly spring to life and introduce themselves. You can also take the opportunity to purchase a treat from the Tiki Juice Bar. Taste a Pineapple Dole Whip—a classic treat treasured by both Guests and tiki birds.” As Disneyland invites visitors into this fake jungle, they can also sip on some juice that is conveniently sponsored by Dole. The idea that tiki birds also enjoy Dole’s pineapple juice is the icing on the cake for how ridiculous this attraction is.
