A Tornado of Sharks?

Writer: “So, uh, with umm climate change and everything, animals are going to move, right?”

Producer: “Yeah, I think so.”

Writer: “And, umm, they generally move north, right?”

Producer: “Yeah, why?”

Writer: “Well I was kinda thinking about putting sharks in the sky and making it a movie. The sky is as north as they can get, right?

Producer: “THIS IS THE BEST IDEA EVER! WE CAN MAKE THEM GET CAUGHT IN A TORNADO AND FALL ON PEOPLE!! THIS MOVIE WILL BE A HUGE HIT AND WE CAN MAKE AT LEAST THREE MORE!!!”

Writer:”Oh, ok. I was thinking about a horror film about global warming, but uhh, your idea sounds cool too”

  1. So I’ve heard that “Sharknado” was a film about climate change– is it? Your clever entry suggests there’s a climate bent to the narrative– I’d love to hear about it.
