Noble Savage, anyone?

I first encountered this image on Adbusters’ website, so I thought it was fake. From what I can now tell, it is a real poster from a 1967 Sierra Club-sponsored  “Wilderness” Conference.

More of the same tropes that all Native Americans are Plains Indians, and that they represent a wilderness lost or being lost.
