1. Navigate to the blog web address.

2. Click on “use my duck ID” to log into blog.

3.  Type in UO email username and password and click “Login”

4.  Under “my sites” on top left of screen click on the “ENG 230” site

5. If necessary, go to “My Dashboard.”

6. On the left side, click “Posts,” then select “Add New.”

7. Type in a title for your blog in the first blank field under “Add New Post.”  Make the title original and snappy.

8. Type in your post (or, to be safe, cut & paste from another word processing program). Notice that you can add links, images, video, sound, etc.

9. Before you publish your post, categorize it. On your dashboard, you should see a box titled “Categories.” Select your name under the category “Students” by checking it.

10. Click the blue “Publish” button on the right. You have the opportunity to go back and edit your post even after you have published it.
