Hi! My name is Liliana Millet. I’m an advertising major and digital humanities minor at the University of Oregon. I’m taking English 470 primarily to fulfill my minor requirement. However, I am so intrigued by the course’s focus and am very excited to tackle the final project. So far, this course has proven to me how integral archiving and digitizing are in academia and how we view historical events. Without the tireless work from researchers at the Slave Voyages project, we would have no foundational data to work with for our course. I am excited to continue the effort to archive and digitize the history of the Morant Bay Rebellion during this term!
