Journal #9
On Tuesday we got to talk to Richard Taylor in the Labs and i thought this was one of the coolest places/lectures we’ve been so far!
One thing i learned was..
I learned a lot not only about Jackson Pollock and his paintings, painting styles and daily habits i also got to learn a lot about Richard Taylor and how he grew up and the reasoning behind his studies in both art and science.
Something i can apply to my project..
Something i can apply to my project is some of his motivation to create work and find answers. He never seemed to give up even when he was much frustrated which is something i need to start doing.
One thing to apply to my own life..
Something i want to begin to do more in my life it to not give up on something if it doesn’t happen right away. I want to have a more positive look out of my goals and realize sometimes i have to go through a lot of work and self doubt in order to acheive a greater goal!
I would love to one time go back and take a tour of the facility because i was very sad when i found out this would no longer be happening because of lack of time. If we do not have enough time in class would there be any possible way to get down there and have a tour given?
Thank you for taking us down there it was a wonderful and intellectual experience and i loved every second of it!
