I’m very proud that our students have opportunities to practice their clinical skills in meaningful ways.
This course incorporates the Interteach method of peer learning, a research-supported active learning strategy in which small groups of students engage in collaborative peer-tutoring and review within a larger pedagogical framework. (Learn more about using Interteach in the online context.)
Dr. Cosottile will invite visitors to join the Canvas course as a Designer. This course role will permit you to see the organizational framework of the course, course materials, including the activities assigned, and the structure of the Canvas site. You will not have access to any FERPA-protected information, so you won’t be able to see student work or observe how they interact with each other or with the teaching team, including the kind of feedback the teaching team provides.
Dr. Cosottile is open to answering questions from visitors who want to learn more about his teaching strategies and course design. Feel free to contact him via email after exploring the Canvas site.
