UO Administrators

UO Administrators manage the creation of new user accounts, as well as document types, user groups, and keywords in DuckDocs. UO Administrators serve as a resource for Department Administrators by providing technical support for escalated incidents, and by convening meetings for the DuckDocs Community of Practice.

Detailed Responsibilities

Access and Security

  • Create new user accounts
  • Notify Department Administrators of job record changes that would necessitate a review of department users’ permissions levels
  • Close accounts and revoke all applied security when employees leave UO

Support, Coordination, and Communication

  • Respond to issue escalations from Department Administrators
  • Communicate with OnBase users during Priority 1 service incidents (i.e., all of OnBase is unexpectedly unavailable)
  • Creation of the following objects will be performed only by UO Administrators:
    • Disk groups
    • User accounts
    • User groups
    • Document types
    • Document type groups
    • Keywords
    • Custom queries
    • Scan queues

Community of Practice

  • Schedule Department Administrator team meetings
  • Share knowledge and provide guidance to Department Administrators when possible
