Sofie, John and Ebba at Dee Wright Observatory
Mt Washington? Need to look that up. Oh, oh, where are the kids?
Walking the Dee Wright Trail. Every sign must be read and rocks must be collected! For your students, says Ebba. For your students, says Sofie.
Birthday cake and a very sturdy table.
Hand Lake, just off of McKenzie Highway, great view of the Sisters. Can we go swimming?
Yes we can!
At least for a minute or two. Very clear water, with light volcanic sediment on bottom. Cold too! But not terribly.
This is their latest pose. Usually I am behind them and they wiggle their butts at me. Maybe they are geese.
Monkey see, Monkey do.
Time to sling the mud.
A silly pose provides a quick detour to Copenhagen.
Ebba’s First Day of Kindergarten. The two of us getting ready to ride off. Both very excited.
Ebba as always with something new is both self-contained in her ability to observe and cautious. Eyes open, taking it all in, and being very patient with me wanting to take pictures.
As the sign says, Edison School. Most everyone has entered, we are coming slowly behind, so that I can watch everyone (Ebba does same) and take a picture.
Ebba and a proud papa.
There were two teachers on the first day. Not sure the name of this one. Ebba getting a name tag.
Ebba’s teacher Jen.
The Bus ride home. “There are rules. No yelling, no running around, and no standing when the bus moves!”
It’s dress up time. A pink kangaroo? Very hot costume, neither Sofie or Ebba will wear it. John won’t take it off.
Fairy Princess and Kanga with Roo.
TuTu too much Sofie.
Tutu Boy!
Something about the belly hugging tutu brings out the best in body form.
