Module 4: The Dark Side of Digital Culture

Well let’s get this out the way since they’re already tracking what I’ve been searching on the inter-webs. Like Profesor Koopman was saying at the beginning of the meeting. By the time we’ve clicked on the links that he had provided perhaps the government was already thinking on why we are so interested in the Infopolitics of the world. As soon as that type on link is clicked we are on their radar on who to watch for. Internet access is something that has been increasing in our everyday life usage because it’s at our own disposal at anytime of our lives from anywhere around the world. We literally have it in our wrist, out back pockets, out front pockets out backpacks and even in our eye-wears. For example like the Google glasses, that has technology at its eye sight and just about saying something to be searched it can be done, that type of technology has been at out disposal for many years now its now just a matter of time on how we can progress it for our benefit.

The type of data that the government stores when it sees that we are interested in conspiracies, governmental and corporate surveillance they store everything we look at and in what type of technology we did it. All this information being stored into one profile with our name on it, all the information we have looked into, and all the things we used to look this type of information up. They have eyes everywhere at any given point at any spot in the world. Going back to algorithms, they manipulate our world because without them they have no technological advanced tech. Data is a also a strong media based, because data is what stores everything and collects every little search that we type up on any sort of tech we have and all that is stored in out profile. Would be aggravating to know that the government is actually storing all of our information in a profile suited for everyone of the internet users. Being watched on every thing we do is like being watched on every tiny step we take forward or the three steps we take backwards, I agree there should be some level of surveillance but not an extreme level that is not necessary to keep our world safe. We are being watched on everything and there’s nothing we can do anymore because we can’t stop it or learn to stop it because it has already taken our lives.
