We have been partnering with Eugene Parks,
The University of Oregon, and Eugene community
members to better understand the science of
ecological restoration in northwest prairies
In studying how phenology affects species interactions and performance of native prairie species, we are collaborating with Eugene Parks, the University of Oregon (Emily Hamblen, the natural areas steward, as well as campus planning and facilities) to use restoration efforts to test basic ecological questions and help inform efforts to promote local biodiversity.
Integrating:
- Restoration experiments
- Public engagement
- Tests of community ecology theory
