Characteristics:
Poisonoak can range in height from 3′ to 10′ feet tall. A tree climbing vine, it can often be seen scaling the sides of trees. The leaves are pinnately compound, most commonly found in groups of 3. The leaf margins can be wavy, almost lobed looking, or entire. Many people are sensitive to the oils excreted from Poisonoak. Once in contact, the oils can spread, continually reinfecting skin surface until properly cared for.
Warning!!
Just a reminder that Poisonoak is a deciduous species, and even though the leaves have been dropped, the remaining branches can still excrete the infectious oils.
